The Everest Three High Pass trek presents a challenging yet rewarding journey through the Khumbu region of Nepal. It involves crossing three Everest high passes: Kongma La, Cho La, and Renjo La. The route enters the Everest Base Camp and lovely Gokyo Valley, famous for its crystal-clear Gokyo lakes, Ngozumpa glacier, and panoramic view from Gokyo Ri.
The trek begins along the classic Everest Base Camp (5,364m). Before reaching it, you face the first and toughest pass, Kongma La (5,535m). It is difficult to cross this rugged trail, but the views of the Khumbu Glacier, Nuptse, and surrounding peaks make every step worthwhile. Standing at Everest Base Camp afterward feels like a true reward, and a climb to Kala Patthar (5,550m) gives you the best sunrise over Everest itself.
