The trek then continues to Dhulikhel After Nagarkot, a picturesque town located 32 km east of Kathmandu. The town is well-known for its temples, diverse landscapes, and friendly people. Dhulikhel is also a popular mountain viewpoint near the Kathmandu valley and offers a stunning panorama of the towering mountains, including Karyolung in the east and Himalchuli in the west. Itinerary

Day 1:
Arrival at Kathmandu

Upon landing at Tribhuwan International Airport, a Himalayan 360 representative will be there to greet you and escort you to your hotel. After checking in, you can take some time to rest or, with the assistance of your guide, explore the Thamel in Kathmandu. Here, you’ll find a plethora of shops and restaurants, offering a variety of goods such as pashminas, trekking equipment, and felt items, as well as delicious meals from Chinese, European and Nepalese cuisines. There will also be ample ATMs available for your convenience. To cap off the day, Himalayan 360 will host a welcome dinner for you, where you’ll be treated to a delicious taste of authentic Nepalese cuisine.

Day 2:
Drive from Kathmandu to Sankhu and Hike to Nagarkot.

After a delicious breakfast, we will begin our journey from Kathmandu to Sankhu. The drive will take around 1 hour. Once we reach Sankhu, we will start our hike to Nagarkot. The hike will take approximately 3-4 hours, depending on the pace of the group. The trail winds through charming villages and lush forests, offering a glimpse into the local culture and way of life. The highlight of the hike is reaching Nagarkot, which is renowned for its stunning views of the Himalayas and its serene atmosphere. Nagarkot is located at an elevation of 2100m and it offers a panoramic view of the mountain ranges including Mt.Everest, Langtang and many more. After reaching Nagarkot, we will check into our hotel and spend the night there.

Day 3:
Early morning sunrise view, Hike to Dhulikhel and drive back to kathmandu.

Today, we will wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise from the viewpoint of Nagarkot hotel. The panoramic view of the majestic mountains including Mount Everest, Langtang, and many more will leave you in awe. After taking in the beauty of the sunrise, we will have breakfast and start our trek back to Dhulikhel. The trek will take approximately 5-6 hours and will take us through charming villages and lush forests. The trail offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscape and a chance to immerse in the local culture. We will take breaks along the way to rest and enjoy the scenery. Once we reach Dhulikhel, we will drive back to Kathmandu by private vehicle and spend the night there.

Day 4:
Final Departure

Today marks the final day of our journey, and it’s time to bid farewell and return to our daily lives. If you have some extra time, you can take the opportunity to do some souvenir shopping or go sightseeing around Kathmandu. A Himalayan 360 representative will pick you up from the hotel and escort you to the airport 3 hours before your scheduled departure.
