Starting from Lucknow, our tour begins with a Flight from Nepalgunj, followed by a night’s stay before proceeding to Simikot. After a night’s rest in Simikot, we fly to Hilsa and walk to the Chinese immigration point to meet our Tibetan guide and driver.

We’ll then drive through the picturesque Tibetan landscape to reach Taklakot, where we’ll spend a day acclimatizing. The next day, we’ll drive to Lake Manasarovar, the highest freshwater lake in the world, considered sacred by both Hindus and Buddhists.

After seeking blessings and performing a puja, we’ll drive to Darchen, a small town at the base of Mount Kailash, where we’ll prepare for the 52 km trek around the mountain. Though challenging, the trek is a rewarding experience that offers breathtaking views of the Himalayan ranges.

Upon completing the trek, we’ll return to Darchen, drive back to Taklakot, and take a helicopter to Hilsa before flying to Simikot for a night’s stay. Finally, we’ll fly back to Lucknow, marking the end of our unforgettable journey.

Itinerary

Day 1:
Arrival in Lucknow and Drive to Nepalgunj (150m)– Overnight in Nepalgunj

Upon your arrival at Lucknow airport, our representative will meet you and assist you with the drive to Nepalgunj, a city in Nepal situated close to the Indian border. You’ll spend the night in Nepalgunj.

Day 2:
Fly From Nepalgunj to Simikot (2900m) – Overnight in Simikot

After breakfast, we’ll take a flight to Simikot, a small town in western Nepal. Upon arrival, we’ll check into our hotel and spend the night in Simikot.

Day 3:
Heli to Hilsa (3700m) and Drive to Taklakot (3900m) – Overnight in Taklakot

We’ll take a helicopter to Hilsa, a small village on the Nepal-Tibet border. From there, we’ll drive to Taklakot, a bustling town in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China. We’ll spend the night in Taklakot.

Day 4:
Acclimatization Day

We’ll take a day off to acclimatize to the high altitude and prepare for the journey ahead. You can explore the town, interact with locals, or rest and relax in your hotel.

Day 5:
Drive to Lake Manasarovar (4550m) – Overnight in Mansarovar

After breakfast, we’ll drive to Lake Manasarovar, considered one of the holiest lakes in the world. Upon arrival, we’ll perform a puja (prayer) and seek blessings. We’ll spend the night in Mansarovar.

Day 6:
1st Day of Parikrama – Drive to Darchen (4650m) and Yama Dwar and Trek to Dirapuk (4880m) – Overnight in Dirapuk

We’ll drive to Darchen, a small town at the base of Mount Kailash, and Yama Dwar, the starting point of the trek. From there, we’ll trek to Dirapuk, the first stop on the 52 km parikrama (circumambulation) of Mount Kailash. We’ll spend the night in Dirapuk.

Day 7:
2nd Day of Parikrama – Trek Zuthulpuk (4670m) via Trek to Dolma La Pass (5700m) – Overnight in Zuthulpuk

We’ll trek to Zuthulpuk via the challenging Dolma La Pass, which stands at an elevation of 5700m. We’ll spend the night in Zuthulpuk.

Day 8:
3rd Day of Parikrama – Trek to Darchen – Drive to Hilsa via Taklakot – Overnight in Hilsa / Simikot

We’ll trek back to Darchen, where we’ll drive to Hilsa via Taklakot. We’ll spend the night in Hilsa or Simikot, depending on the flight schedule.

Day 9:
Fly From Hilsa/Simikot – Nepalgunj and drive to Lucknow

After breakfast, we’ll take a flight from Hilsa or Simikot to Nepalgunj and then drive back to Lucknow, marking the end of our unforgettable journey.
