Overview

Pokhara Sarangkot Hiking is the perfect short trek that offers breathtaking views of the Annapurna Himalayan range, including peaks such as Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri, Tukuche, Dhampus, Hiunchuli, Machhapuchhre, Gangapurna, Lamjung Himal, and more.

Sarangkot, at an altitude of 1,700 meters, is a renowned sunrise viewpoint and idyllic hill in the Annapurna region, offering panoramic views of the picturesque emerald landscape, Pokhara valley, and its majestic mountains. Itinerary

Day 1:
Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon landing at Tribhuwan International Airport, a Himalayan 360 representative will be there to greet you and escort you to your hotel. After checking in, you can take some time to rest or, with the assistance of your guide, explore the Thamel in Kathmandu. Here, you’ll find a plethora of shops and restaurants, offering a variety of goods such as pashminas, trekking equipment and felt items, as well as delicious meals from Chinese, European and Nepalese cuisines. There will also be ample ATMs available for your convenience. To cap off the day, Himalayan 360 will host a welcome dinner for you, where you’ll be treated to a delicious taste of authentic Nepalese cuisine.

Day 2:
Drive from Kathmandu (1400m) to Pokhara (850m).

From Kathmandu, we’ll journey to Pokhara by either a scenic 6-hour drive on a tourist coach or a quick 30-minute domestic flight. Upon arrival in Pokhara, we’ll transfer to our hotel for the night.

Day 3:
Drive from Pokhara to Naudanda and Hike to Sarangkot.

We’ll make our way from Pokhara to Naudanda, taking a 45-minute ride on private transportation. From there, we’ll embark on a 2.5-hour trek to reach the picturesque village of Sarangkot. Overnight in Guest Housel/Lodge

Day 4:
Early morning sunrise view, Village Tour and back to Pokhara

Today, we’ll wake up early to catch the breathtaking sunrise and panoramic views of majestic peaks such as Mt. Fishtail, Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. Afterward, we’ll embark on a guided village walking tour, to explore and experience the local culture and way of life. Then we hike back to Pokhara.
Overnight at Pokhara

Day 5:
Drive back to Kathmandu from Pokhara.

After a delicious breakfast, we’ll make our way back to Kathmandu via a scenic drive. To cap off the trip, we’ll enjoy a farewell dinner, featuring delicious Nepalese cuisine, while immersing in the rich Nepali culture.

Day 6:
Final Departure

Today marks the final day of our journey, and it’s time to bid farewell and return to our daily lives. If you have some extra time, you can take the opportunity to do some souvenir shopping or go sightseeing around Kathmandu. A Himalayan 360 representative will pick you up from the hotel and escort you to the airport 3 hours before your scheduled departure.
