Annapurna Base Camp Trek starts with a scenic drive from Kathmandu (1360m) valley all the way to the paradise city Pokhara (900m). Pokhara the lake city of Nepal flourished with natural and religious beauty. We then ascend our trek trekking for 5-6hours a day all the way to the lap of Mt Annapurna. Our trekking trail passes through some of the most popular sightseeing and cultural villages such as Ghorepani (2800m), Himalaya viewpoint of PoonHill (3210m), lush green forest flourished with Rhodendron and oak, deepest George of Kaligandaki, and entire settlement of Gurung and Tamang people. Explore the most scenic serene Annapurna region and its exotic snow-covered wilderness.

Itinerary

Day 1:
Arrived in Kathmandu

When you arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport, a representative from Himalayan 360 will be there to meet you and take you to your hotel. After checking in, you can rest or, with the guide, visit Himalayan 360’s office in Thamel a part of Kathmandu in the tourist district. Here there are many shops and restaurants. The shops are colourful and full of pashminas, slippers, trekking equipment, and felt items. The restaurants serve European as well as Nepalese meals. ATMs are plentiful should you require them. In the evening, there will be a welcome dinner hosted by Himalayan 360 where you will be served authentic Nepalese cuisine. This is a great introduction to Nepalese food.

Day 2:
Drive from Kathmandu(1400m) to Pokhara(850m)

Through the Prithvi highway, you will go to Pokhara by drive after your morning breakfast. On the way, you can see scenes of the western Himalayas. You can admire the extraordinary rocky hills, and rivers. You will stop at Kurintar for a cup of tea where you can see Cable cars sliding up and down to Manakamana. After reaching Pokhara you can view Fewa lake, Davis falls, Mahendra Cave, and other important landmarks of Pokhara city. If you are interested you can also view World Peace Pagoda.

Day 3:
Drive to Nayapul(1070m) and trek to Tikhedhunga(1480m)

Today morning, you will have breakfast and you will drive to reach Nayapul along the dusty and zigzag route. It takes almost one and a half hours to reach there. After reaching there, you will start your trek to Tikhedhunga. Birethanti also comes on your way. For lunch, you will reach Lumle. On the way, a large riverside village is located at the point of the Modi and Bhurungdi streams. You will observe the beautiful farming lands. Finally, you will reach Tikhe Danda.

Day 4:
Tikhedhunga(1480m) to Ghorepani(2874m)

Early morning, after having breakfast you will trek to reach Ghorepani. You need to cross the metal suspension bridge and you will climb to the large Gurung village named Ulleri(2070m). Then you will ascend towards the beautiful rhododendron and oak forest. Then you will reach the small village named Banthanti(2250m). Walking slowly and steadily takes you to Ghorepani. The awesome views of Mt. Dhaulagiri and Mt. Annapurna are seen from Upper Ghorepani(Deurali).

Day 5:
Hike to Poonhill(3210m) and trek to Tadapani(2610m)

Early in the morning, you will start your hiking to Poon Hill for the fascinating sunrise views. You will make a pre-down 45 minutes hike through rhododendron forests. From this viewpoint, sunrise can be seen clearly which will beautify the start of your trek. The panoramic view includes the Annapurna range and the Dhaulagiri range. After one hour on this spot, you will come down to Ghorepani and trek towards Tadapani where you reach Deurali in between.

Day 6:
Tadapani(2610m) to Sinuwa(2100m)

From Tadapani, you will be descending in the direction of Sinuwa. Exploring the beauty of rhododendron and pine forests, you will reach Gurung village where you can meet friendly locals. Then following an easy trail, you proceed towards Chhomrung from where you will be ascending toward Sinuwa after lunch.

Day 7:
Sinuwa(2100m) to Deurali(3200m)

On this day, you will hike to Deurali from Sinuwa. On the way to Deurali, you will pass through Bamboo, Dovan and many splendid Himalayans. You can also see a little view of Annapurna which you are gonna trek on another day.

Day 8:
Deurali(3200m) to Annapurna Base Camp(4130m)

Today, you will finally be reaching Annapurna Base Camp which you were longing for. You start your trek early in the morning as you have to cross the avalanche areas before noon. You will reach Machhapuchhre Base Camp after 1 hour after your departure from the avalanche areas. Then you will arrive at Annapurna Base Camp after 2 hours. You can explore and capture the breathtaking views of the mountains.

Day 9:
Annapurna Base Camp(4130m) to Bamboo(2310m)

You will spend an unforgettable time with the mountains, and You will go down to beautiful Bamboo. To reach the Bamboo you should walk 6 hrs. You will return in the same way. You will be descending 1700m walking along Modi Khola till you reach Bamboo. After reaching your destination, you can go for a short walk to visit the place.

Day 10:
Bamboo(2310m) to Jhinu Danda(1700m)

You will get up in the morning and start your hike to reach Jhinu Danda. You will move uphill to Kuldi Ghar and to Sinuwa from there. You will be following stone steps to reach Upper Chhomorong. Then you will go through the steep trail to Jhinu Danda. You will be enjoying yourself in the natural hot spring 20 minutes away from Jhinu Danda.

Day 11:
Jhinu Danda(1700m) to Pothana(1890m)

In the height of 2100, Pothana lies. It contains numerous splendid mountains and hills, and to reach the scenic village of Pothana you should walk around 6 hrs. By reaching Pothana you can explore traditional villages or you can watch the sunset in the mountains.

Day 12:
Trek down to Phedi() from Pothana(1890m) and drive to Pokhara(850m)

You will walk 2 hrs down to reach Phedi. It lies at an altitude of 1500m on average. You will not see snow in the mountains when you hike down to Phedi. By reaching our destination, you will have a short break and drive to the lake of Pokhara.

Day 13:
Drive to Kathmandu(1400m) from Pokhara(850m)

After having breakfast in the morning you will travel toward the Prithvi Highway which is your last drive to reach the capital city of Nepal, Kathmandu. Then, at last, you can roam around the city and buy gifts to take back home.

Day 14:
Final Departure

Today is the last day of our adventure, it is the time to say goodbye and return to the real world. If you have some time left, you can do some souvenir shopping or sightseeing around the hotel. A representative from Himalayan 360 will collect you from the hotel and take you to the airport 3 hours before your departure.
